INSTALLATION
Telephone Wiring Installation Hamilton Telecommunications will install the wiring inside your home or business. For information, call our Business Office at 402-694-5101 HamiltonTelecommunications' Inside Wire Protection Plan protect your communications investment for a minimal monthly fee! if you enroll in our Inside Wire Protection Plan, there will be no additional charge for the repair of the telephone wiring within your premise. Call our Business Office for more information. Repairing Your Own Wiring You can wire your house or business yourself. Installation and repair of telephone wiring must meet guidelines set by the Federal Communications Commission and the Nebraska Public Service Commission. Telephone Problems Telephone problems may come from: 1. The telephone itself 2. The wiring inside your premises 3. Telephone company lines or equipment To determine the source of telephone problems before you call Hamilton's Repair Service, complete the following three steps: 1. Telephone Set Problems Unplug the telephone and plug another telephone into that jack. If the second phone doesn't work, the problem maybe in the telephone wiring in the your home or leading into your home. You can exchange defective telephones leased from Hamilton for another telephone. Return customer-owned phones to the original supplier or follow the instruction on the warranty, If you ask for Hamilton repair technician to visit your premise and the problem is in your equipment rather than Hamilton's, you will be assessed a premise call charge. 2. Inside Wiring Problems Plug a telephone into the jack nearest to where your telephone line comes into your premise. If the telephone works there but nowhere else, the trouble is probably with your inside wiring. If you have subscribed to Hamilton's Inside Wire Protection Plan, there will be no additional charge to have Hamilton Telecommunications repair your wiring problem. If you do not subscribe to the plan, you can have Hamilton repair the wiring for an additional charge, repair it yourself or have another contractor do it for you. 3. Trouble Outside Your Premise If you are unable to determine the source of your telephone problem, call repair service at 611. We will test the line and determine whether the problem is in our lines and equipment or in your phone or inside wiring, Hamilton Telecommunications will repair any problems outside your residence at no charge.
