
WINDOWS XP USERS
1. Make sure your Axesstel box is turned on and connected to you
computer and close all applications.
2. Click here to Download the file
3. A File Download box will appear, click “save”
4. A Save As box will appear, choose “desktop” in the “save
in:” drop box, click “save”
5. A Download Complete box will appear, click “close”
6. Minimize this instruction box and click on the newly created
icon labeled “3g” (for some users, the icon may be entitled “3g.exe”)
7. An unzip box (such as Winzip) will open, double click on “3g.exe”
8. If a caution box appears, click “yes”
9. Several “host” boxes will appear in succession, read
each and click “OK” for each
10. IMPORTANT – The process may take several minutes and may
appear to be complete but do not interact with the computer until
a final “host” box appears stating “modem has updated
successfully”, click “OK”
11. In some instances an additional “host” box will appear
thanking you for using Hamilton.net, click “OK”
12. Restart your computer
13. Delete the “3g” or “3G.exe” icon on
your desktop
14. YOU’RE DONE!

WINDOWS VISTA USERS
1. Make sure your Axesstel box is turned on and connected
to you computer and close all applications.
2. Click here to Download the file
3. A File Download box will appear, click “save”
4. A Save As box will appear. Click the down arrow to the left of
browse folders to bring up the folders list and click on
desktop. Then click the save button.
5. A Download Complete box will appear, click “close”
6. Minimize this instruction box and click on the newly created icon labeled “3g” (for
some users, the icon may be entitled “3g.exe”)
7. A window appears and 3g will appear as an application. Click
on 3g.
8. If a user access control window appears that states "An unidentified
program wants to access your computer" click "Allow"
9. If an open file-security warning window appears, click "Run".
10. Several “host” boxes will appear in succession, read each and
click “OK” for each
11. IMPORTANT – The process may take several minutes and may appear to
be complete but do not interact with the computer until a final “host” box
appears stating “modem has updated successfully”, click “OK”
12. In some instances an additional “host” box will appear thanking
you for using Hamilton.net, click “OK”
13. Restart your computer
14. Delete the “3g” or “3G.exe” icon on your desktop
15. YOU’RE DONE!
